Terms of service

These terms are a draft for JackSoundWorks / jackboyman.com. Have them reviewed by a law firm for your business model (especially AI credits, digital delivery, consumers).

1. Scope

These terms apply to use of the website jackboyman.com and the services offered there, in particular paid AI Tools credits (“Credits”) and other offers from JackSoundWorks.

2. Contracting party

The provider named in the Imprint is your contractual partner (“we”).

3. AI Tools service description

The AI Tools provide browser-based helpers (for example text generation, Serum tips). No particular artistic or commercial outcome is guaranteed. Results may be wrong or incomplete (“AI”).

4. Free use and credits

Under the rules described on the site, limited free trials are available. After that, credit packs are available for a fee. One credit equals one usable unit as described on the product page.

5. Contract formation and payment

Purchase of credits is via Stripe Checkout. Completing payment forms the contract for the selected package. Prices are shown on the product page or at checkout.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability. Maintenance, technical faults, or reliance on third parties (hosting, Supabase, Anthropic, Stripe) can still cause interruptions.

7. User duties

Users must not submit unlawful or abusive content, bypass security, or run automated bulk requests without permission.

8. Withdrawal

Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal; see the withdrawal policy. For digital content the right may expire early if performance begins with express consent.

9. Liability

We are liable under statute for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties (“cardinal obligations”), limited to typical foreseeable damage. Liability for slight negligence for loss of data is excluded where permitted by law.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms. Statutory rules apply to ongoing contracts; repeated use may reference publication of the new version.

11. Final provisions

German law applies excluding the UN Sales Convention. Mandatory consumer protection rules at your habitual residence remain unaffected. Venue for consumers: as provided by law.
